Compliance, Integrity & Transparency (CIT) Initiatives
CaptureRx® Sets the New 340B Standard
Protection for providers, patients and pharmacies has never been more important, especially with 340B audits and HIPAA. While many administrators may claim to be compliant, only CaptureRx® proves Compliance, Integrity & Transparency (CIT) through its CIT Initiatives. The company presents industry “firsts” as it grows beyond 10 million annual outpatient encounters for millions of patients. CIT means CaptureRx® is the most compliant, audited and third party- and client peer-reviewed organization in the 340B administration, data, and safety-net pharmacy networks market segment. Our team is here to help; submit your inquiry if you would like to learn more about how you can join the mission of Expanding HealthcareTM for patients.
CaptureRx® has initiated the accreditation process for the Electronic Health Record Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC). CaptureRx® is the first and only health data, technology, and 340B administrator company that provides services to the nation’s safety-net hospitals and clinics to become a candidate for EHNAC accreditation.
CaptureRx® will be accredited under the EHNAC Health Network Accreditation Program (HNAP). HNAP accreditation indicates that the company exceeds industry-established standards and complies with HIPAA regulations in areas such as privacy and confidentiality measures, level-of-service and escalation procedures, transaction response times, and systems availability. HNAP assesses security infrastructure and data integrity measures including disaster recovery; business continuity; contingency plans; and intrusion detection and response. The program also evaluates transaction processing efficiency; ability to comply with generally-accepted, industry-standard data formats; and audit trail capabilities.
EHNAC is a federally recognized, standards development organization and tax-exempt, 501(c)(6) non-profit accrediting body designed to improve transactional quality, operational efficiency and data security in healthcare. EHNAC represents a diverse cross-section of healthcare stakeholders. Electronic health networks, payers, hospitals, physicians, consumer groups, financial services firms, security organizations and vendors are all working together to establish sound criteria for self-regulation. EHNAC ensure compliance with HIPAA, ARRA-HITECH and other select state rules and regulations; accommodates industry standards and proper use of NCPDP, X12, HL7 and other formats; and encourages quality improvements in products, services, workflow, revenue cycle and other business practices and policies. Current EHNAC accredited organizations are: Xerox/ACS Gateway, Allscripts, Emdeon, GE Healthcare, J.P. Morgan, Med Assets, Optum, Qs1, RelayHealth, and Surescripts.
