EHNAC CaptureRx® announces that it has initiated the accreditation process for the Electronic Health Record Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC). CaptureRx® is the first and only health data, technology, and 340B administrator company that provides services to the nation’s safety-net hospitals and clinics to become a candidate for EHNAC accreditation.

CaptureRx® will be accredited under the EHNAC Health Network Accreditation Program (HNAP). HNAP accreditation indicates that the company exceeds industry-established standards and complies with HIPAA regulations in areas such as privacy and confidentiality measures, level-of-service and escalation procedures, transaction response times, and systems availability. HNAP assesses security infrastructure and data integrity measures including disaster recovery; business continuity; contingency plans; and intrusion detection and response. The program also evaluates transaction processing efficiency; ability to comply with generally-accepted, industry-standard data formats; and audit trail capabilities.

“As one of the largest providers of 340B drug program pharmacy networks in the country, CaptureRx® once again is setting the bar high for the industry. Through EHNAC, we are protecting our pharmacy providers, hospital and clinic clients, and their patients, by meeting the most stringent standards of the Health Network Accreditation Program. Our clients and pharmacies should expect nothing less from their vendors than to make every effort to protect their patients,” states CaptureRx®’ President and Co-founder, Edward Gilmartin.
